Vehicle Facts: The owner of this 2006 Honda Accord had 2” bumper guards installed 6 months prior. They are selling the vehicle
and would like the bumper guards removed. The outside temperature is approximately 70 degrees and the vehicle was parked in a sunny spot.
Tools Required:
1) Car Wash Soap, Sponge and Drying Towel
2) Hair Dryer (if outside temperature is below 72 degrees).
Weather Conditions:
For easiest and fastest removal the outdoor temperature should be above 72 degrees. During the cold months, you will need
to remove the product in a warm indoor space or you can use a standard hair dryer to help warm the product (never use a heat
gun or any device that reaches extreme hot temperatures near the product). Another method is to dip a rag into hot water and
rub it on the product. Still another method is to place a heater in the vicinity of the bumper guards – remember the goal is to
warm the area not melt the bumper guards, so use common sense when using a heater.
Overview of removal procedure: The key to an easy removal is the outside temperature – greater than 72 degrees is best.
The hotter it is outside the easier removal will be. The warmth activates the adhesive and makes the rubber car bumper guard
more pliable. My suggestion is to park the vehicle in a sunny spot during removal. If the weather is cool, you can use a hair
dryer to warm the product. It is best to start at one end and slowly work your way around, warming the product and removing.
Be patient and take your time.

you a hair dryer to heat the adhesive.
