Our innovative door guard is made of super light-weight energy absorbing foam. The bridge design includes dual impact arches to (a) reduce the weight of the product (b) minimize the contact areas and (c) absorb impact energy. Within this structure are three powerful rare earth magnets, encapsulated at 3 locations along the product. The contact areas are over molded with a super soft silicone like material, with a raised micro ribbed texture. The ribs act like little feet, minimizing the contact area between the paint and the product. For security, we utilize a suction cup attached to a vinyl coated aircraft cable. This allows you to open and close the door without having to remove the product (“Valet” door guard kit).

Product Features:

(1) No Touch Magnets: For maximum protection the magnetic feet are covered by a soft silicone like material with raised micro ribs (contact material is soft and will not scratch the paint finish*). The raised ribs act like little feet to (a) minimize the contact area (b) provide a more cushioned surface and (c) help the product grip the vehicle.

(2) Shock Absorbing Foam: We selected a high grade quality foam for its light weight and excellent impact absorption qualities.

(3) Impact Arches: We integrated a bridge system with impact arches along the door guard length. These arches act like shock absorbers providing varying flexibility at the various impact zones. The arches further reduce the weight of the door guard and provide rigidity to the body structure.

(4) Anti-theft Cable with Suction Cup: A vinyl coated aircraft cable with a suction cup attaches to the inside glass of the vehicle. This wire can not be pulled out once the door is shut.

Most products, which attempt to serve the same purpose as the Door Guard, are permanent attachments to your nicely painted vehicle.
